Author Guidelines

Professors, critics and scholars interested in submitting an article must send a text in .doc format to the following email address as an attachment: redazione.pianob@unibo.it. This text must contain a short abstract (maximum length of 1500 characters, spaces included), no more than 5 keywords, and a short biography of the applicant. The Editors, the Executive Board or the Guest Editors (who could be internal or external auditors) will evaluate the submitted text. In addition to the original language of the text, the abstract, the applicant’s biography and the keywords must be compulsorily submitted also in English.

Once the abstract has been accepted, the author can proceed with the writing of the article (a monographic article or an essay) that must not exceed the maximum length length of 30.000/40.000 characters (including footnotes and spaces). All articles (that can be submitted in Italian, English or French) must be emailed to the aforementioned email address, specifying the title of the article and the full name of the author in the accompanying email. Each submission will undergo a double blind peer-review process. The Editorial Staff will communicate to the authors the evaluation process results.

Authors must also comply with the following instructions:

  • authors must align their articles to the editorial guidelines (.PDF)
  • authors must follow the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review
  • authors must be aware of the journal policies
  • authors must respect the deadline published in the Call for Papers
